The 1988 Detroit Tigers were led by Hall-of-Famers Alan Trammell and Jack Morris, along with Lou Whitaker, Chet Lemon, Darrell Evans, Tom Brookens, Gary Pettis, Pat Sheridan, Doyle Alexander, Frank Tanana, Walt Terrell, and Mike Henneman. The Tigers went 88-74 in 1988, finishing 2nd in the AL East. The 1988 Detroit Tigers were managed by Sparky Anderson. Allen Trammel led the Tigers in Batting at .311 and RBI with 64. Darrell Evans led the team with 22 Home Runs. Jack Morris led Tiger pitchers with 15 Wins, and 168 Strikeouts. Mike Henneman was the team leader with an ERA of 1.87. The condition of this yearbook is VG-EX. The front cover has nice color and gloss, with light wear. The back cover has nice color, with light wear. The spine is strong. The insides are clean.
