Description: Okay, the 4th is over and back to sanity. However, that little special was a clue maybe to a successful offer. HEY, ARE YOU MISSING THE FACT THESE ARE ERROR NOTES, FOUR OF THEM. GO PRICE OTHER ERROR NOTES. 1985 FRN 4 note uncut sheet uncirculated error notes NOTICE: Many of these come with OGP (original government package) Ask me about yours. This offer is for four note uncut sheet of uncirculated one dollar bills and all have a shift error in the third printing. Errors in minting coins and printing errors are among the finest items for collectors and collections of any other items. They are usually the rarest and bring the most money in resales. I have spent many moons collecting these items and now with my sight failing, age creeping up on me (77 now) it's time to share my collection with others. The error here is probably one of the more common ones so the price is set accordingly. The third printing is a little off base from the designer's idea, called a SHIFT ERROR. Notice, the green printing is well off the mark. The green seal is the easiest to identify as it is not in the middle of the big number ONE. the seal and serial number is shifted off to the right and down. A shift error, to be called an error, must be outside the Number or far enough to the left or right to be an obvious error as this one fills that requirement. Whitman's Encyclopedia of Paper Money says errors are worth $25 to $50 dollars. This is for certain errors. Other errors can be worth thousands of dollars. So, let's price this offering. Let's begin with:1) four one dollar notes = $4.00 (we must be in agreement there, huh? 2) 4 error notes = $100 (at $25 per note per error) = $104 .00 NOTE: That's the least any error should be worth.3) Uncirculated = $5 per note = $20 + the 104 = $124.004) GRADE. If these were graded, due to the uncirculated condition, and being about a 63 grade $5 each 20 + the 124 = 1445) UNCUT SHEET = $5 each note = 20 + the 144 = 1646) something for me. $10 = 174.Need I say more. Thanks for looking and good luck in the bidding if you want it.urcurrency guy NOTICE 1) There's another error, making two errors on one noter. It's over inking. Look in the upper right corners or the notes and you'll see black inking splotches, that's an over inking error, another error making the notes actually worth more, but I'll throw that in. LOL N O T I C E 2) Should you want more of these, similar, check out my volume buying discounts. Should you want more of these, ask for pictures of subsequent items. The ones you will receive will be the ones pictured in the offering. further items should be inspected because each item will be different. N O T I C E 3) Please look at sold and delivered transactions. Don't compare asking prices as they can sometimes be way too high. The important thing is to know what similar items actually sold for. These are amazing to see and have graded. If you want this graded tell me and I will let you know how much more to grade it. Should it come out with a high grade, the value will go up, but not the cost of this offering. I would only add grading, shipping to the grader and insurance, which they require. it's usually about 20 dollars per note.
