Description: In 1968, George A. Romero released the independent film “Night Of The Living Dead” and transformed the American horror movie. Ten years later he did the same thing with the sequel “Dawn Of The Dead”. In it, three people barricade themselves inside a shopping mall while a plague of zombies swarms around them. Released as an unrated independent film, not as many posters were printed as a wide release major studio release. This poster is folded as were most posters sent to movie theaters at this time. It measures 27x41 inches, the standard size known as a ‘one sheet’. The tiny Graphic Arts Union (GAU) logo on the bottom middle of the poster is clear which is a great indicator that this is an original lithograph, not a modern copy since the logo is only a few millimeters wide. There are condition problems including a small tear along the bottom edge, a small hole in the word ‘Rubenstein’, light fold wear, a smudge by the word ‘Read’, some little spots on one edge, and a few wrinkles (see photos).
