1977 Marshall 1960A 4x12" 100 Watt Speaker Cabinet Original Celestion T1221

Description: This is a 1977 Marshall 1960 A slant 4x12 lead cabinet. Features a quad of original "black back" Celestion G12M T1221 75 hz resonance speakers. Wired 16 ohm via original series parallel wiring. These have never been re-coned and are matched original set. These are original white stamped 1777 Mueller cones. All the speaker have been checked for issues. They are in nice shape operationally and physically. Just a bit of dust on the cones. They are all stiff and solid just as they should be. I see no signs of heavy use or wear anywhere. No weak, or dry rotten paper, no repairs. Cones are nice and stiff, no rot, glue is solid on the spiders and none of the coils are rubbing. Checked by hand, visually and tested thoroughly. No rattles or weird noises. Just as they should be. They sound punchy and clear and bite like hell. See photos as I have included a photo of each date code. They are identical and a matching original set never removed or reconed. Cosmetically the cabinet is in good condition but certainly shows some signs of use. Scuffs, small tears, dings and scrapes are apparent. This was never abused but was used. Has 4 Homa casters that roll nicely and are quite clean. One of the handles were replaced with an OEM newer production Marshall handle, the handles were fitted with stainless steel bolts and tee nuts for rattle free contact and easy removal if ever necessary. This is a nice upgrade. The grill cloth was also professionally replaced. Its straight and tight! Just like it should be. This is your chance to own an original 1977 Marshall cabinet with a stellar sounding set of G12M's in fantastic working order. This is the sound, a perfect match for your vintage Marshall. New Marshall cabinets just can't quite nail the vintage tone.
