It’s about Melinda and Michael who relive their first love – a completely new theme in the children’s room. The both got their own facemolds, only used for Michael and Melinda. The second innovative thing beside the love theme was the new lifelike poseable body with joints at the wrist, ellbow, hip, knee and feet. Michael has an additional joint at the upper body. And a new neck adapter makes the head turnable in all directions, even up and down. It took 40 years until Mattel gave the idea of a livelike body a second chance.
