Description: The program is in very good condition with all the pages secure and no tears. There is light wear on the front and back covers. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program. The 1974 Dixie 500 was held at Atlanta International Raceway on July 28th. A crowd of 38,000 watched the 36-car field race for 328 laps. The pole sitter was Cale Yarborough. Richard Petty recovered from being a lap down and won this race won by 21 seconds over David Pearson, Buddy Baker, Darrell Waltrip, and Lennie Pond.
