1974 Los Angeles Rams Team Signed Autographed Presentation Football 45+Autos

The signed football was gifted by veteran O-lineman Joe Scibelli to someone. If you are familiar with Rams footballs of the time (other teams did this as well), a team employee would paint the salutation on the football with a unique font. I believe this adds to the desirability of these footballs as you can be certain the autographs were assembled by the team itself. This football includes this styled and painted salutation as pictured. The ‘74 Rams won the western division for the second year in a row with a 10-4 record, and made it to the NFC Championship game where they were defeated by the Minnesota Vikings. I managed a sports memorabilia shop here in southern California years ago. Around 2000 or so we purchased a portion of a collection from a Rams super collector who had become upset that not only did the Rams leave LA, but immediately won the Super Bowl. This football was part of the collection. It will arrive in the original box in which I received the football. Members of the Rams autographed the football in uniform black ballpoint which contrasts well with the white panels. The autos range from approximately 5 to 9 in strength.
