Description: This 1973 Road Runner has a 408 stroker with Edelbrock aluminum Performer rpm 6077 heads and matched performer aluminum intake, I was told it dyno tested at 465+ HP. It has Traction masters and 4.11 gears on rear. The transmission is a TCI Torqueflite 727 StreetFighter, rated to 500+ HP. A Hurst bump floor shifter is made for drag strip racing or just cruising. This car is just fun to drive, and everybody wants to know what's under the hood when they hear it running. https://youtu.be/jS52mZny2A4 Although it's not obvious on 1st look the passenger rear bottom quarter skin is rusted through on the edge and needs replaced but the inside core is still solid. the driver's side floor pan has a rust issue around the drain plug about 6" in diameter and needs replaced. Trunk has some surface rust as does the passenger floor pan but is solid.Otherwise, the body is very solid. Paint is faded, cracked and peeling. the back seat upper is sun rotted. the front seats don't match, and the drivers needs a full reupholstering. Glass is all there and intact. windows and doors work like they should. Carpet is good. lights work (even the dome light and fender indicators). A toggle switch powers the MSD ignition. Ignition key works and powers the rest of the electronics in the car. Why there's a toggle switch for the ignition has not been metered out. The car runs and drives great as is but needs some little details fixed to make it function factory. Rear diff has a slight leak at the yoke. This was originally a 318 CID with a 3-speed manual Transmission from the factory and was modified to its current configuration. I was told that the drive train build and install was $20k but no receipts are available. Either way you don't build this kind of power for low dollars that's for sure, it's truly a beast when you put pedal to the metal. It will do rolling burnouts. Its registration is current and doesn't expire until April of 2025. Has a clean title in my name. For the condition of the body and the amount of horsepower this car has you couldn't even come close to building this car for the reserve price. I'm happy to answer your questions.
