Description: Note: Please study the images carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition. It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may interpret colors and contrast differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person. This vintage photograph is offered for sale as a collectible item and conveys no transfer of copyright. 1972 Press Photo Germaine Monteil Cosmetiques' President John S. Street. This is an original press photo. One year ago John S. Street, president of Germaine Monteil Cosmetiques Corporation, and a fellow worker, Mrs. Ann Walsh, launched a non-commercial program called "The Beautiful Activists." Using New Orleans as a pilot city the "Beautiful Activists" program has spread to 15 areas including various cities and states. "The hardest part of this program is making people realize that it is not a commercial venture," said Street, in an interview Wednesday. "The whole idea started because we are a young company which aspires to become involved in community affairs. In our own way, we want to help solve some of the problems of the country." Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 09-07-1972. PHOTO FRONT PHOTO BACK Historic Images Part Number: noc68734 Sell Smarter with Kyozou.Inventory and Ecommerce Management
