The Port of Southampton is a major passenger and cargo port ~ One of Southampton's best-known liners the Cunard Line was the RMS Queen Elizabeth, which was her home port . . . “The Cunarder” would transport passengers to and from the RMS Queen Elizabeth. Chris Woods ~ English artist who is well known for his superb railway and steam locomotive paintings. Chris Woods was born in Winchester. His portrayal of the classic steam engines set in wonderful British landscapes are among the best available and many of these fine paintings have been reproduced by a number of publishers over the years. There was a book published in 1993 A Romance With Steam: Railway Paintings of Chris Woods. Condition: Very Good condition – This is still in the original plastic wrap on a cardboard piece as it was purchased. ~ I would probably choose to take the plastic and cardboard off for packing and shipping in a tube . . . if you prefer to have it shipped as is flat, just let me know.
