Description: Chromed Tubular Steel Stools Jean-Pierre Laporte Attributed, 1970s - a Pair. Rare pair of Jean-Pierre Laporte design chromed tubular steel stools, Burnt orange velvet mohair - which we believe is either the original fabric, or if reupholstered that would have been done in the 70s. They have been in an attic since then. Stools are 17" tall and 15.5" wide. Circles are 14" wide. Both chairs have been in an attic for decades. Fabric is in excellent condition with minimal to no wear. One stayed nicely in a plastic bag, the other was in a bag that ripped and so the metal was exposed. The chrome on one stool has little to no tarnish, the other has some tarnish and wear that we have not tried to correct.
