Description: I "inherited" this recently when my parents moved to an assisted living community and Dad had to part with some of his treasures. He is the original owner of this knife. Since I loved his so much, he gave it to me as a Christmas present when I was young and then promptly bought himself another just like it. :-) This particular knife is an early model, before the sheath was redesigned the 2nd of 3 times (sometime in the late seventies, early eighties) with the keeper strap moved up to the handle; making this the least common sheath. It seems that the blade tended to cut the strap when inserted or withdrawn by the user. This vintage Schrade USA Old Timer #152 Sharp Finger Knife & Leather Sheath is a perfect addition to any collection. With a clip point blade made of carbon steel and a full tang, this hunting knife is ambidextrous and comes with a lanyard hole and the original leather sheath. The handle is made of DELRIN and was advertised as unbreakable. Its originality and quality make it a valuable piece for those who appreciate vintage fixed blade knives.
