Description: Here's the NOVEMBER 21, 1970 COLUMBUS DISPATCH "STADIUM EDITION" front page sold at Ohio Stadium before the OHIO STATE VS. MICHIGAN FOOTBALL GAME. The local newspaper printed abbreviated editions of the morning paper with a front page picturing the Buckeye seniors, listing uniform numbers and roster positions, and previewing the game. On this day, the Buckeyes would complete an undefeated regular season with a 20-9 victory, avenging the 1969 defeat and winning the Big Ten title and a spot in the Rose Bowl. Coach Woody Hayes declared the team "the best we've ever been." This is NOT a complete newspaper. This listing is for the front page only, which was torn way and saved for the last 53 years. The newspaper page measures 23 3/4" tall and 15" wide. See photos for a closer look. The paper has some wear along the horizontal and vertical folds; light edge and corner wear. There is a 2-inch J-shaped tear on the left edge (thru Zelina's picture). Very nice for framing and display.Shipping reduced for multiple purchases - please request combined invoice before paying.
