Description: * Vintage 1969 Springbok "GYRO" (A Mini Puzzle in a Mini Box) featuring art by Claudia Carrel, 7"x7" square miniature jigsaw puzzle, PZL 7002. Made in the USA. * Bold and dynamic Op Art by the distinguished abstract painter and designer Claudia Carrel, born in Paris in 1921. A truly beautiful puzzle:) * Springbok's puzzles are famous for their unique die-cuts, sturdy pieces and clear, richly colored graphics. Within a puzzle, no two pieces are the same! * This mini art puzzle comes in its original hinged square box, with a short biography of the artist on the back. Box measures about 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 1-1/2". The completed puzzle is 7" by 7" square. * CONDITION: This is an authentic, pre-owned vintage item that is over 55 years old. It is 100% original and COMPLETE (no missing pieces) and is in overall EXCELLENT (pieces and box) vintage condition. * The pieces are beautiful--thick and glossy, and just beginning to show signs of wear at the tabs. I saw NO bent, broken, torn, chewed, or replacement pieces. * The back of the puzzle is WHITE, with age-appropriate toning. Pieces fit together perfectly, and the finished puzzle lays flat and smooth. * Box is sturdy and in excellent vintage condition. There is NO tape. There is NO writing. Box HAS its original paper-tape "hinge" joining the lid to the bottom. Box top has light scuffing, chipping at the edges, and ONE corner (front right) is just beginning to split. Box bottom is excellent, with light scuffing mostly out at the edges. Inside of box is clean.
