Description: This listing is for a fully built 1969 446 (440) running engine and accessories shown in the pictures. This motor came out of our fully restored 1968 Dodge Charger 4-Speed and is ONLY being pulled and sold because a 426 HEMI has been installed into the 1968 Charger and there is not any use or space for this motor. It has less than 5,000 miles since the build and dyno time. When it was initally built and run on a dyno it had a solid roller cam that made 654 Horsepower @ 6,800 rpm and 601 ft/lbs Torque @ 5,800 rpm. It now sports a Hydraulic Roller camshaft and has not been re-dyno'ed since. Guessing it might be around 575 hp and 550 TQ?? It is a 1969 440 (now 446) High Nickel marine block prepped by Horsepower Heaven, CP .030 11-3/4:1 compression ratio pistons that have Total Seal piston rings. on 1970 440-6 Pack rods with ARP bolts. The 440 (now 446) is fitted with studded main caps, 1969 440 Steel crankshaft prepped and balanced by Henry Velasco. Oversize Milodon oil pan, The bearings are Clevite "H" series and the it has 440 6-Pack harmonic balancer. Also there is a Cloyes 3 bolt double roller timing chain. The Camshaft is a custom ground Rubens billet racing hydraulic roller with Lift being .530 intake / .545 exhaust and the Duration is 282 intake / 290 exhaust. The Lobe Center is 113 and Center Line is 109. The lifters are Morel Hydraulic roller Lifters and Crane pushrods go to Direct Connection aluminum roller rockers with 1.6 ratio. Under the K&N air filter is a 950 Holley 4 barell carburetor prepped and tuned by Sean Murphy Induction. The Holley is fed by a Clay Smith fuel pump. The carburetor sits on a PORT - MATCHED Edelbrock Torker Intake Manifold. The cylinder heads are OEM original parts with 906 castings. They have hardened valve seats, valve job and cylinder porting was done by Valley Cylinder Head Service. The valves were upgraded to 2.10 intake and 1.81 exhaust Severe Duty stainless steel valves. The heads use ARP head bolts. Exhaust is TTI Ceramic coated headers. This motor uses Fel-Pro Gaskets. On top are Mopar Performance cast aluminum valve covers. MSD Coil, MSD Pro- Billet Distributor, MSD 8.5 MM Super Conductor spark plug wires, + MSD wire loom, NGK V-Groove spark plugs, and the starter round out the ignition system. Also some motor mounts and a fuel pickup shown in the pictures are included. This motor is set up for a manual transmission, so included are the clutch assy shown attached as well as some other brand new clutch parts shown in the pictures.
