This bracket will not work on 1968 models like other sellers are listing. Some of the brackets come from the factory painted and others come without paint, all of the brackets that we are selling are in great condition with no issues. While some of the parts that we offer here on eBay are now reproduced, why would you put non GM parts on your car when OEM parts are available? Restoration shops all know that when building top notch cars the first choice is NOS (great, but crazy expensive) and a close second is high quality used original parts (that is what we sell), dead last would be reproductions that often have fitting issues or cheap chrome that needs to be removed to look OEM (good, if nothing else can be found).
