Description: 1969-70 Kansas City Chiefs Team Signed Football Super Bowl IV Champions with Provenance Included This is an exceptional 1969-70 team signed football from the Kansas City Chiefs who, on January 11, 1970, won the Super Bowl IV Championship by defeating the Minnesota Vikings by a score of 23 to 7. This team ball comes with the original box, a vintage team patch, and also includes the provenance of the football. The football was given by the team physician to a nurse who often helped the physician bandage injuries. The nurse then gave it to her mother to send to her nephew. It appears that the football was kept in the box since it was received as it is in exceptional condition with very little fading. The ball is also in very clean condition as it was wrapped in a plastic sleeve inside the original box. The football has over 35 signatures, 8 of which are Hall of Fame players (Bobby Bell, Buck Buchanan, Curley Culp, Len Dawson, Willie Lanier, Johnny Robinson, Jan Stenerud and Emmit Thomas). There are more than 35 signatures on the team football that we have been able to verify, and several signatures that we have been unable to verify.
