Description: For sale is an original vintage poster, or flyer, from Governor George C. Wallace’s Presidential campaign visit to Evansville, Indiana, in October 1968. Made of paper, it measures 8 2/2 by 11 inches and is in very good condition. A crowd of about 5,000 turned out to hear Wallace, the controversial third-party candidate, give a fiery speech on the steps of the courthouse downtown. His visit was marred by skirmishes among black and white students and local police, which led to several arrests. See my other items, including political memorabilia. I gladly combine shipping fees for multiple purchases when they can be packaged together, and I do ship internationally. Please contact me with any questions, and thanks for looking!
