Description: 1968 Pontiac GTO tail light. Original GM tail light for a Pontiac GTO. This is for the left side of the car as it has the letter L in the top left exterior corner. The metal trim is nice with no dents. The top left corner of the black area is cracked. This one piece has been taped with silver duct tape a long time ago. I did not try removing it. It’s holding one piece that broke off. You may be able to glue it back together or leave it as is. On the car it would be hard to see unless you knelt down or laid on the ground and looked up. I’ve been told that you can use these on either side of the car if you grind away the key on the back which locate them as left or right lenses. Why GM did this I don’t know. But a friend of mine who owns the GTO has done this trick before in order to use them on either side of the car. I’m pointing to the little index tab, that would be ground away to use this on the right side of the car.
