Description: Here for your consideration is this very good condition 1968-69 Dodge Coronet front right (passenger) side chrome bumper guard, with black rubber cushion attached. I believe the guard itself is shown in the Chrysler Parts Catalog as being Chrysler part # 2856610. This has been stored away inside on the shelf here for many years. Looks like it was either a very low mileage original piece, or perhaps was an NOS replacement part at one time. A very nice straight and solid piece. Chrome is nice and shiny and smooth, and not pitted, peeling, or dulled. There is a small scrape in one spot on the metal, almost right next to the rubber cushion on the outer side (see pencil pointing to it in last two pictures), but not that noticeable overall. The black rubber cushion (with steel insert inside) looks pretty decent on much of it, but has some wear and cracking at the very bottom of it. Good studs and nuts to hold it on on the back side. Metal guard itself has a nice mounting bolt hole on the back side, with good threads on it where bolt goes into it. Not a perfect guard, but overall a pretty nice piece as these go and for its age for sure. Use as is, or a great core to have re-chromed, and put a new rubber cushion on it if you want more perfect too.
