Description: 1967 Buick Special-Skylark-Gran Sport Long Console for floor shift automatic cars, in black. I pulled this part back in 1985 from a 1967 GS 400 from Louisiana, and stored in my basement ever since. It's the console body that's most important, as the 65-66 is smooth whereas the 67 is textured. This is textured (thank you v8buickblvd who provided this clarification). The black console body 1380380 has no cracks, though there are some wear scrapes. The rear area adjacent to the rear of the lid is missing pieces that have broken off. This is a pattern failure, that is remedied via a die grinder and a cylindrical abrasive bit. Plastic model glue will melt and hide the grinding scratches. Fortunately, this area doesn't show in practice! A few (four) attaching screws are missing, sized 3/16-24 like the others that are present. One of the two chrome screws that secure the striker is also missing. The lens for the interior light at the rear of the console is missing. The pot metal pieces show heavy use, plus some pitting is just beginning to show. There's a metal spring clip on the hinge that has broken, whose purpose is to hold the lid open. I've included a rubber bumper 1361105, striker 1361004, chrome screw, and broken piece of spring clip (not pictured). The striker is mangled, needing to be straightened, but is the original. This is a fragile part, so I've packaged it as a box inside of a box. As such, the final package is fairly big (though not heavy) which is why the shipping costs are so high. Better to arrive in one piece than save on shipping!
