Description: This is a Series 7 swivel desk chair, model 3117, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955. This particular example was produced in Denmark in 1966. The piece features a 1st series four-star swivel base, and has chromed steel feet on casters. It has been freshly reupholstered in black leather. This chair measures 20 inches long, 20 inches wide, and is adjustable between 30.7 and 35.4 inches high. The adjustable seat height varies between 17.3 - 22 inches. The leather on this piece is new and is in terrific condition. The chromed-steel base has fading and some pitting. Overall, it is in good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
