Description: This ia a 1964 U.S. POST OFFICE DEPT.. 38 CAL. SNUB NOSE HOLSTER was used by the U.S. Postal Service and was is made of genuine natural leather. The front has a leather strap with a snap closure for securing the pistol. Also the front is stamped with an oval circle, within the oval circle is stamped with the following : PROPERTY OF U.S. P.O. DEPT.. Under the oval circle is 1964. On the back of the holster is a leather loop used to wear on a belt, etc.. The length of the holster is approx. 5 1/4" long. The holster is in unissued condition, but has slight green residue on the brass rivets which can be cleaned. and some spot on the natural leather otherwise the holster is in near new to new condition.Since this is a Buy It Now the 1964 U.S. POST OFFICE DEPT.. 38 CAL. SNUB NOSE HOLSTER will be different then the one pictired.
