Description: The program is in very good condition. It does have a light vertical crease throughout the entire program which is visible in the pictures. There is no writing on the program, no tears, and no stains. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program. The 1964 Motor Trend 500 was held at Riverside International Raceway on January 19th before a crowd of 58,265. This was the fifth race of the 1964 Grand National season. Dan Gurney won this race in the #121 Wood Brothers Ford, followed by Marvin Panch and Fireball Roberts. Gurney dominated at Riverside, winning five races from 1963-68, four of them with the Wood Brothers. This race was marred by the Joe Weatherly accident on lap 86 that claimed the life of the 1962 and 1963 Grand National Champion. The Clown Prince of NASCAR was driving the Bud Moore #8.
