1964 GI Joe Vintage Hasbro 12” Advenure Team Early Issue Talking Astronaut, Bare

Description: Original Hasbro figure was part of the Adventure Team Talking Astronaut set. The fuzzy hair figure has a soft head and the patent number marking on the rear and is in good, complete, played with condition. The figure has yellow hair with brown eyes. Early issue figure has painted rivets and the hair was originally painted yellow, then “fuzzed” over at the factory. Hair is very good, no thin spots. Eyebrow paint has wear. Common discoloration spot under nose. Shoulders are fairly tight, the lower body stringing is loose. Some tape like residue in spots. Normal aging stress cracks are present in the knees, calves, thigh pins, shoulders and right forearm. Original broken dogtag and complete chain. Talking mechanism pulls out and does not always retract. Barely able to understand slow, garbled speech, but was able to hear and make out the main talking astronaut phrase. Would not keep on pulling out string to hear more phrases, fear of wear, breakage and string non-retraction. Definitely needs repair and tune up. See pictures for more details. Add $9 for shipping.
