SHIPS FAST AND FREE in US. The Lotus was innovative for a few reasons as Colin Chapmanās design was the first ever to use the rear engine to win Indy. It was significantly stronger and lighter than traditional designs. Jim won the Indy 500 in 1965 coupled with two World Championships in 1963 and 1965. He won 4 F1 races in 1967. Tragically, he was killed at age 32 in a Formula 2 racing accident in Hockenheim Germany in 1968. At the time of his death he had won more Grand Prix races (25) and achieved more GP Pole positions than any other driver. Arguably one of the best of all time.
