Description: Scarce FBL Variety & PQ! 1961 Franklin Half Dollar Bugs Bunny FS-401 PCGS / CAC MS64FBL A luscious, fully brilliant example of this very desirable FBL variety. This was one of the first 1961 Franklins ever designated with "Bugs Bunny" at PCGS. We know because we submitted the 1961 Bugs Bunny to the Cherrypickers' Guide, and we submitted this piece to PCGS decade ago. By todays standards, it looks a lot nicer than 64FBL. A series of delicate spikes protruding from Franklin's lip and mouth define this clash variety. This piece is a strong example, struck before the delicate clashing began to fade. 1961 is generally a very hard date to get with a CAC sticker. This piece was a no-brainer, and the lower bell lines are razor blades. Pop 21 with only 4 finer. PCGS Price Guide is $600 in MS64FBL.
