Description: 1960s Danish ceramic teapot with cover by Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) made for Rorstrand Studio in Sweden. Unusual beautiful variegated light blue hare's fur glaze, excellent potting, very pleasing shape. The knob on the cover is regaled quite well, does not distract from the piece. Glaze irregularity on the side of the spout is original, did not prevent for the piece to be marked as factory first quality. Marked on the bottom with letter R and three crowns for the Rorstrand Studio, Sweden and G.N. for Gunnar Nylund. Height with cover 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm).
