Description: This is a brand new gas tank and fuel sending unit for 1960 Buick LeSabre, Invicta, and Electra models (not station wagons). ***The fill neck will need to be modified.*** The actual tank is identical to the factory 1960 tank. The fill neck angle on this reproduction tank is not correct for the 1960 Buick models. I would recommend cutting off your original fill neck, and cutting off the fill neck on this tank (leaving some of the neck), and then joining your fill neck to this tank with a large piece of fuel hose and 2 hose clamps. The last picture in the listing shows the reproduction tank sitting on top of the original 1960 tank, so you can see the angle difference in the fill necks. This is a very nice reproduction tank. I had these tanks made. These are steel tanks that are painted. This a very nice fuel sending unit (the only difference between an original and this reproduction is the length of the fuel line tube on the sending unit). You can see the differences in the 2nd to last picture of the listing. You will just need to lengthen the piece of fuel hose to make up for the fuel line tube being shorter. The fuel sending unit has 1 port. The fuel sending unit is made from stainless steel. A new gasket is also included. This fuel sending unit works on a 0-30 ohm scale which is the original ohm scale.
