Description: This listing is for a Vintage 1959 Magnatone Mark VII Electric Guitar. This guitar is from Paul Barth Era Magnatone and is a very cool guitar that was made in the USA in the late 1950's. The Guitar plays fairly well and sounds good. The action is low and there is room on the bridge to bring it down. The truss rod is acting strangely and while it does turn it barely adjusts the neck. I would assume the truss rod nut is getting stripped or broken. The guitar is playing well as it is so our recommendation is to just do nothing and play the guitar as best you can. These are very fun guitars and are extremely light weight. This one weighs 4 LBS & 14 ounces. The pickguard is cracking around a lot of the screw holes and someone wisely installed a washer around the input jack for extra support. The guitar has all it's original parts including single like strip tuners that would be found on a Les Paul Junior. The pickup design on these is very similar to Rickenbacker pickups these have a really great and unique tone. The guitar shows nicks, dings on scratches all over the guitar and some wear is especially heavy on the neck and headstock. The guitar comes with the non original chip board case pictured. The Fine PrintI described this guitar as playing well which can be somewhat subjective and this is a very old guitar and has also been described as having a truss rod issue. Because of that I will accept returns for the purchase price within 7 days of receipt of the item. You are responsible to pay the return shipping costs and I only refund the purchase price. Please do not purchase this if you are not comfortable with my return policy and know that you will need to pay the shipping both ways if you are not happy with the guitar. Thanks for looking,,
