Description: I developed these new brake booster assemblies for various Buick, Cadillac, and Oldsmobile applications over 20 years ago with hundreds having been sold. .This is an all new brake booster and master cylinder assembly that fits all 1959-1961 Cadillacs with 4 wheel drum brakes. It is a replacement for the original booster/master assembly, both Bendix and Moraine styles. Since all of the components are new, there is no core charge required. It is engineered to be a direct replacement. All that you need to do is unbolt your original brake booster from the firewall and then bolt this one on. No cutting or drilling will be necessary. On some 1959-1960 cars, it may be required to move the washer bottle bracket. This unit is updated with a dual master cylinder. Your car originally came with a single reservoir master cylinder. This meant that if any single wheel cylinder or brake hose blew, you would lose all brakes. This unit has separate reservoirs for the front and rear wheels. If you lose a rear brake hose, the front brakes will still operate. If you have your original booster/master assembly, I may be interested in purchasing it. Please inquire.
