Description: This is an original 1958 Vatican sterling proof medal set. The set was obviously produced late in 1958 as Pope Pius XII passed away in October and the new pope John XXIII was not chosen until October 28th of the same year. Coins are in excellent condition, but have some sleeks. I have not opened the original plastic container; there appears to be little bits of plastic rattling around inside.
