Description: Al Smith played 15 years in the majors mostly with the White Sox and Indians though he also wore unforms of the Orioles and Red Sox. The three time All-Star had a career average of .273 with 168 home runs. This card is in VERY good shape and is well centered with sharp corners, a nice clear portrait and no creases, stains, pencil marks or paper damage. Back looks new though there is a tiny vertical line just above the Topps logo. Not sure what it is, if its a printing error or some sort of mark made by a previous owner. It's 3 cm in length. But that's the only flaw I can see in this otherwise flawless 1957 card.
