Description: Stunning 1957, 5.5 x 14" Slingerland Snare Drum with original White Marine Pearl wrap! 14x5 The Village Drum Shop just gave it a once over, they said the bottom bearing edge was still factory perfect and they made a small adjustment to the top edge. They changed out the heads and snare wires as they can't last 65 years, but original wires/heads are included in the sale (calfskin only slightly used). 3 ply mahogany. Wrap is secure but has a 66 year patina. Throw off works like it was built yesterday. Drum doesn't not have a date stamped but collectors have narrowed this drum to late 1957 or early 1958.
