A very nice award, polished and matte brass, with enamel logo of the United States Olypmic Committee and Olympic rings. The inscription on the plaque is "United States Olympic Association Sponsor Women's Track & Field." There are ribbons engraved on both sides with te dates and cities for prior Olympics. Mounted on a hardwood "shield," 7 1/2 by 6 inches. An interesting and attractive piece of Women's Olympic history.
