Description: For your consideration is a vintage 1950’s Replogle Reference Globe and Atlas. Replogle Co. of Chicago, Illinois manufactured this 10 inch "Reference Globe"in 1951. It was designed and edited by respected cartographer, Gustav Brueckmann. Composed of paper over board with a cast brass half-meridian and brown metal box base. The base houses its original atlas published by C.S. Hammond & Co. The globe's wear is consistent with its over seventy years of use. The accompanying atlas has tears in its cover, but its spine and pages are intact. The story of the globe booklet is intact. Both have a musty odor due to age and storage. 9.5ʺW × 10ʺD × 15ʺH
