Monroe's contract had just ended with Columbia and she had met and became the protégée and mistress of Johnny Hyde, The Vice President of William Morris Agency. Hyde would get Marilyn small roles in "All about Eve" and "Aspalt Jungle". Even with these limited roles it helped Hyde leverage this Marilyn mystique to 20th Century-Fox for a 7 Year Contract which made her into a Megastar.This promo photo was taken in 1950 and has no credit stamps (which was very normal since the studios never credit stamped photos) These photos were used for promotional use to market the film.
