Makoto Kozuru 小鶴 誠 is in the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame Kozuru was a player from 1942-1958 single season RBI record holder. 1st player to hit 50+ home runs. Kozuru was often compared to Joe DiMaggio. He played as an outfielder and infielder. He holds the Japanese baseball record for most RBIs in a single season with 161 in 1950.
