Description: Up for auction is a beautiful postcard cover from a prisoner named Mario Laufrachi in the concentration camp of Regensburg which was part of the Flossenburg concentration camp complex in Bavaria Germany. Konzentrationlager KZ Cover to Marianesi Mangoni in Cremona in Northern Italy. This cover was mailed shortly before the war ended and the camp was liberated. Concentration camp covers from this late in the war are exceptionally rare as most of the camps were being evacuated to escape advancing liberating armies and the camps, with their prisoners, were being liquidated to hide the evidence of the war crimes committed therein. Priced to sell. Postmarked February 17, 1945. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in very good condition, note torn corner and has been folded and small tear at lower bottom. Shipping will be a flat $4.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail with insurance. Overseas airmail shipping is $14.00. Insurance and registered mail fees included. Questions? Please contact me at: azteccollectables at hotmail.com.
