1944 PRAYER FOR A CHILD Book Rachel Field Macmillan Old Vintage Illustrated Nice

Description: Here is a lovely vintage book called "Prayer for a Child" by Rachel Field. Printed in 1944. It has beautiful color illustrations. It is in nice condition. Solid binding, no loose pages. there is a dedication and original owners name inside the front cover. Book size is about 8 3/4 by 7 inches. Some light spotting on the cover. A few imperfections to note: The 2nd page of the book has a bent top right corner and it must have previously been paper clipped since there is some residue on this and the previous page. Pages inside are clean except on the 4th page of the book there are blue crayon marks above the wording and a little tiny residue onto the following page and as I look on the previous page, I thought it was 2 birds flying above the angel figurines, but upon closer review it looks like it's the same blue crayon. Not too distracting. Finally, on the 2nd last page of the book there is a very small paper tear (bottom right) from turning the page, it is about 3/8 of an inch.
