Description: From the estate of a prolific NM art collector. She collected pieces both from NM artists as well as artists from around the world…known and unknown. This one is signed (initials are stylized and entwined so hard to decipher; a cross is strategically formed inside the ‘P’), but I have not been able to id the artist. The structures do have a Northern NM style to them, but the architectural style could be attributed to many other locations as well. 27” x 20” without the frame. 31” x 24” with the frame…looks to have been framed within recent decades. Photos provide accurate depiction and detail. NOTE: Photo 3 is shown for scale next to $1 bill.Photo 7 - the shiny area you see on the middle left in 1st photo is of wooded trees…from the opposite angle, you see the tree detail more. Maybe a cleaning would make the trees ‘pop’ more?Photo 8 - there are raised bumpy ‘dots’ in a few places throughout…these 2 examples are the most pronounced. Photos 9 and 10 show examples of the crazing/crackling that you will find throughout.Photos 11 and 12 - hanging wire has been removed. Paper backing torn in places….the little holes at top are where I’ve punched it to hang. No matter where I put it in my house, it clashed with my decor (I have a more moderm style and abstract art)…bummer because it is so soothing and peaceful that I really hoped to find the perfect spot for it.
