Description: A really nice nearly 80 year old handmade fixed blade knife that was originally purchased in Mexico in the late 1940s by my grandfather before his deployment to Europe during WW2. One side of the uniquely designed blade is etched MEXICO. The other side the words ACAPULCO with palm trees. The aluminum handle is shaped into a snake with its tail wrapped around to its mouth creating a unique knuckle bow. The original leather sheath is hand tooled with the words MEXICO etched into hide. Great vintage condition from a great era of men like my grandfather! This is superb piece and will make a great addition to any collection especially any who collects ww2 era memorabilia. Overall length of the knife measures approximately 13" with an 8" blade. The blade has some patina that I made no attempt to restore. I will leave it up to the purchaser. This and my grandpa has made all over the USA, Mexico, Europe during ww2. It has since been at my grandparents home until I brought it home to Long Island. Pictures are worth a thousand words so I will let that do most of the talking! My guarantee as with all my listings that this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described. If you are not satisfied for whatever reason I offer 14 day no questions asked returns as long as items are returned in original packaging and NOT damaged! Thanks for looking!
