Description: The Telechron “Conductor” (Isn’t that name reminiscent of train travel?) alarm clock was produced from 1940 - 1947 with no production for three years (1942-1944). Dimensions are 5 1/8” x 5” x 3”. Clock was available in either a mottled brown or ivory plastic case. Brown hands, a polished brass bezel, dial with with dark cream border, brown numerals and light cream numeral band are highlights. This clock was designed by Leo Ivan Bruce, a noted art deco designer, sold for $3.95 and production was 246,719. Please note the jewelers pad I am displaying the clock on is NOT included in this sale. I presented the clock to you just as a jeweler would have done in the 1940s. Also see condition comments for inoperable alarm and chip in base. Also please understand my shipping charge includes insurance, tracking and sufficient packaging to preclude damage from USPS handling.
