Description: THIS IS A NICE BIG CASE XX MADE BETWEEN 1940-1964 THAT HAS A FULL BLADE IT DOES HAVE PITTING AND A PATINA APPEARS NEVER RESHARPENED (SEE PICTURES). THE BLADE MEASURES 5-1/4" WITH A CLIP SABER GROUND BLADE. THE BLADE HAS A 3-1/2" HEAVY SWEDGE OR FALSE EDGE AND THUMB GROOVE NOTCHES ON THE BACK SPINE TO KEEP THE KNIFE FROM SLIPPING WHEN USING. THE TANG IS STAMPED CASE ON ONE SIDE. THE HANDLE SCALES ARE BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE STAG WITH LOTS OF CHARATER AND NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR ANY DAMAGE (SEE PICTURES). IT HAS A METAL FRON FINGER GUARD AND AN ALUMINUM REAR POMMEL. IT COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL CASE LEATHER SHEATH, THE HANDLE STRAP HAS BEEN REPLACED AND IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE SHEATH.
