Description: A Department of Labor Child Labor Violation photo of girls picking shrimp in Texas, 1937. The girls appear malnourished with only the sun for lighting their work. This is of the quality of a Lewis Hine photo but too late to be if the date is correct. The photo is 6.5" x 9.5" and is mounted to a 9.5" x 11" official cardboard backing from the Department of Labor Visual Information Unit. Good condition with wear to the cardboard on the corners, and a hard-to-see "ridge" in the photo from the mounting process. Displays really well. A striking piece of history and a solid addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be. I always combine shipping and will refund back any overage when you buy multiple items. Please see my store for more museum quality artifacts.
