Description: 1937 BULLETIN of KNOX COLLEGE ~ The Catalogue ~ CENTENNIAL EDITION ~ 100th Year ~ Vol 31, No 1 ~ Printed March, 1937 This is an AUTHENTIC and VINTAGE item. It has been in my family since it was brand new. In VERY GOOD vintage condition, with the only noted issue being a minor turned-up corner at the bottom of the front cover and the first 24 or so pages, as shown in photo #4. The covers are in nice condition for a publication that is 87 years old, as can be seen in photos #1 - 3 (and photo #21, in slightly different light). Spine does not appear to be cracked (see last photo), so this was probably never read. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide, and 1/2 inch thick. There are 183 numbered pages. Contains all kinds of interesting information, including a mention of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate that was held on campus in 1858. See photo #10, which is page 36. Another interesting item is the admission policy (see photo #15, which is page 62) which says that the Freshman class will be limited to 250 students, which will be approximately 150 men and 100 women. Also contains the academic calendar (first day of school was Sept. 23!), an interesting Historical Sketch (photo #11), graduation requirements, list of degree recipients, lists current students and professors, as well as descriptions of the classes. Comes to you from a smoke-free home. Will be carefully packed for shipping. Ask any questions before buying, because this is SOLD AS IS and there are NO RETURNS.
