Description: Selling a ~1936 Lionel 249E Locomotive with 265W whistle tender. Gun metal color with chrome accents. Pressed steel or tin bodies. O27 gauge. Both units have significant paint wear and can use some TLC. Bench tested locomotive and engines runs but was unable to test reverse function. Missing light bulb. Note that cattle catcher has damage Bench test of whistle tender also confirms that motor works but was not able to engage whistle. Note that wires to wheels needs to be replaced and reattached.
