Description: This is a vintage 5 3/4” x 4 1/2” die-cut paper political ad for Alf Landon. It is dated 1936. Republican Alf Landon was a presidential candidate during the 1936 United States presidential election - he lost to Franklin D. Roosevelt. Landon was from Kansas — which makes sense because I found it in an estate in Evanston, Illinois, where the owners were originally from Topeka, Kansas. The a piece is in acceptable vintage condition with a significant rip as shown in photos. It’s imperfect, but rare.
