The coats of arms are shown for the seven houses of Lowell, Dunster, Winthrop, Eliot, Kirkland, Adams and Leverett. The compass rose is done in the style of the Coney Seal of 1693. The cartouche also features the coat of arms of the school, Harvard Presidents Lowell and Conant appear on either side of the map's title. Views of Harvard College in 1726, and statue of John Harvard, are shown in the upper left.
