Description: "The Ancient Town of Rye."A delightful vintage town plan full of character and history, drawn up and published by Percy F White at The Merrythought, Lion St., Rye. It is dated bottom left 1933, but below it is a small note "revised 1959." White picks out all sorts of small details. The town has changed since the map was drawn up - gone are the Banks for example! The map has been carefully handcoloured. Size: the mount measures approx. 35.5cms x 30.5cms.Condition: The sheet is a little creased, and has two horizontal folds, which are barely visible. Otherwise the sheet is in a good condition, with good handcolouring. Please study my photographs.
